What is Arborfest?
Arborfest is community-driven for a green world and epic events. Every year on Arbor Day (the last Friday in April), the Arborfest team plants trees in the morning at Arbor Day events in NYC, and then the team hosts a music fest at night. This raises awareness to people who just came for the music, the team asks you then plant tress next year and keep bringing friends to promote a greener world. This year is the 3rd year Arborfest will be held at Arlene’s Grocery. Last year, proceeds from ticket and merch sales went to Van Cortlandt Park Alliance which is dedicated to the preservation of the 1,146 acre Van Cortlandt park located in the Bronx, NYC.

Arborfest 2026
This year, Arborfest asked to go the route of parodying a famous album they loved: Nevermind. To truly make it our own, I used Stumpy, the tree mascot, as the baby swimming towards a 6 pack of ipa’s. Neverpine is a playful pun on the original album title while keeping in theme of Arborfest.
This year’s poster features a new custom font, as well as the idea of “We Party for the Trees”, the original tagline of Arborfest.
